Bijal

Reporting & Analytics Manager, Finance Planning & Analysis Connect

Bijal originally joined Reckitt as a Sales Finance Analyst after completing the company’s Commercial Graduate Development Program nearly eight years ago. Since then, she’s worked through a variety of projects across various roles to improve how the organization approaches end-to-end gross margin expansion to deliver sustainable margin enhancement.

To help the broader business garner insights that allow for more informed, strategic decision making, I am continually optimizing Reckitt’s reporting structures to deliver a cohesive financial estimate for both the current and upcoming year(s).

It’s not lost on me how important the high-energy environment that permeates throughout Reckitt is to a satisfying career. Freedom to Succeed is having a great idea and being empowered with the freedom to go after it.

Hearing about Reckitt’s culture, I was (and still am) excited at the prospect of getting the opportunity to work on something new every day.

After attending a high school that specialized in Biomedical Sciences, I thought I’d be destined for medical school; however, an undergrad microeconomics course altered those plans, and instead, I decided to focus my studies at Rutgers University on finance and economics.

“I joined Reckitt to be a part of something tangible, understanding I didn’t want to be an asset manager or work for a wealth management firm. I enjoy being afforded the opportunity to see something on a store shelf and realize I was part of its development.”

Much like Reckitt’s entrepreneurial spirit, positive energy is infectious and stretches throughout the company, and I for one am always looking for an opportunity to inspire others by sharing my love and knowledge of finance throughout the office as well as in virtual settings.
