Close collaboration with the FDA
In May 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Enforcement Discretion providing the pathway for temporary imports of infant formula produced outside the U.S. We received approval to import bulk infant formula base powder from our state-of-the-art facilities in Singapore and Mexico, for final blending, packaging and distribution to retail outlets and healthcare facilities across the U.S.
August 10: FDA approval of 331,000 pounds (6 million 8oz servings) of PurAmino base powder
June 15: FDA approval of 4,500,000 pounds (66 million 8oz servings) of Enfamil Stage 1 base powder
