Over her career, Isha Mishra’s worked with an FMCG giant, an e-commerce business and a tech startup. Now she’s back in FMCG, experiencing Reckitt’s unique approach. “There’s great balance of agility and sustainability here. We’ve got the structure and scale but also the innovation and pace. It’s the right balance for me.
“Reckitt feels like a 200-year-old startup, and that’s what I love most about it,’ says Isha.
It’s very agile, fast-paced, and open to innovation and experimentation, which I really appreciate. It’s lean and flat, so leaders are accessible and I feel empowered.
As Head of HR, Isha sees herself as a true business partner. “At the end of the day, I’m here to coach, support and help us deliver on our strategy. It’s about enabling and empowering our leaders to do what they need to do. Not just now, but into the future.”
Reckitt’s purpose aligns with the issues Isha cares about. “There’s huge scope in countries like India to help women access the health and hygiene solutions they need. Especially across public transport and travel. For example, toilets are often overlooked. But they’re a fundamental right. I’d love to change things for the better.”
Isha values how she can make a difference to the lives of her team. “I see it as my role to guide them, to put a hand on their shoulder and say ‘you’ve done a good job’, and help them when they get stuck. I’m inspired by coaching and enabling the leaders I work with every day”
Alongside her career, Isha’s on another journey of discovery. “I’ve been exploring Indian spiritual thought. This teaches that we’re part of a larger consciousness. If we connect to that, we rise above petty things and anchor ourselves in something deeper. That helps us deliver our purpose with joy and resilience, so we can all live more blissfully.”
Reckitt has enabled Isha to take her visionary approach to her work. “I like to find a big vision that inspires my team and leaders. Then break it down into small, achievable tasks. That sense of purpose and progress is very rewarding for me.”
