Since beginning her Reckitt career in Colombia, Paola Arbelaez has grown from local marketer to global strategist to country leader. “At each step, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of different markets and cultures. And I’ve been challenged to stretch my thinking and lead with even more impact.”
In time, Paola’s marketing talent took her across Latin America, Mexico and into a truly career-defining role in the Netherlands. “As Vice President for Vanish, I led the brand’s growth, equity, and innovation pipeline. You need strategic clarity and cultural agility, but also a deep commitment to working collaboratively”.
Now Paola has stepped up once again to become General Manager, Mexico, where she now leads our consumer health and hygiene business. “This is the culmination of years of learning, leading, and believing in the power of people and our purpose.”
Throughout her career, Paola has navigated the unique challenges a mother and woman in leadership faces.
Balancing the demands of global leadership with the responsibilities of family life has taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of being true to myself.
Outside of work, Paola’s greatest passion is her family. “Living across different countries over the past years has been an enriching for all of us. It’s given my children the opportunity to grow up with a global mindset, independence, and a deep appreciation for diversity.”
