
Daniel Secada’s time at Reckitt has been an extraordinary global experience, not only for him but his family too. “We’ve lived in London, Chicago, New York, Bogotá, and now Mexico. It's been very enriching to learn about new cultures and different ways of thinking. Looking back, it's been a phenomenal journey for us.”
Now the commercial lead for Mead Johnson Nutrition Latin America, Daniel’s role is still very much international. “I work with teams across Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and Mexico. All of them are passionate, purpose-driven people.”
Daniel started his career with Reckitt by leading Mead Johnson’s marketing for the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. “From the very start, I’ve been motivated by the purpose behind our brand. I was a premature baby, and being able to develop products that can help save lives and support infant development means a lot me.”
This sense of purpose isn’t just confined to the workplace. “Reckitt encourages us to give back to the communities we’re part of. We’ve painted schools, built bikes for children and helped with water collection programmes. It’s all part of our commitment to be responsible citizens, wherever we operate.”
The Reckitt journey continues to offer meaningful challenges for Daniel. “In my current role, I’ve focused on executional rigour and prioritisation. It’s about helping the team stay focused on what matters most.”
