After several years with us, Kee Tang left to explore a new role. But when it didn’t align with his aspirations, he reached out to his former manager. Fortunately, the timing was right for Reckitt he recalls, “within a week and a half, I had an interview and was welcomed back.”
Kee now leads global alignment for over 130 local Drug Safety Officers (DSOs), ensuring Reckitt products meet safety standards across diverse markets. “I’m here to make sure local teams are aligned with global standards, and to be there when they need support, especially during routine inspections. It’s a big responsibility.”
Kee’s first stint with Reckitt began in Northern Europe as a DSO. He then joined a pharmaceutical startup focused on smoking cessation. “Brexit disrupted that business, so I moved into tech consulting. But it didn’t feel right for me. So coming back to Reckitt feels like coming home. It’s somewhere I can make a real impact.”
Kee continues to grow both professionally and personally. “I’ve developed skills in project and time management. I’ve gained a broader view of how businesses operate. It’s important to me that I can see things through. It might be shaping procedures or supporting a colleague, but whatever it is, I want to make a difference.
At the heart of Kee’s work is a deep sense of responsibility. But outside, being present for his family is everything.
What I value most here is the autonomy and trust. Being able to do school drop-offs and pick-ups is something my kids will remember. At most pharma companies, that just wouldn’t be possible.
