Based in Hyderabad, Sheela Ramakrishna oversees operations, governance, and strategic delivery across our Global Finance Services (GFS). “Essentially, we’re the hub for finance. I drive excellence, ensure compliance, and partner effectively with our stakeholders. I’m also leading initiatives in areas including automation and quality control.”
Sheela had always liked the idea of working in fast-moving consumer goods. “I saw a lot of scope for transition and growth in this role. There was a clear path for progression and the chance to take on some pretty big challenges. So I went for it.”
Traveling to the UK for meetings and spending time with the team in person has been valuable for strengthening collaboration and driving progress. “ This has been a huge help. It made me feel included and accelerated my learning. But it’s been my choice as to when I go. As long I’m adding value and doing my job ethically, there’s no pressure.”
Reckitt encourages an entrepreneurial mindset, and that appeals to Sheela.

Sheela continues to thrive on the constant change and variety Reckitt offers her day to day. “There are many teams and many ongoing transformations. This means new opportunities keep emerging. It’s never boring, and I really do enjoy the dynamism of the work.”
