For Catherine Mulhall, making an impact is more than a goal — it’s a way of life. After more than 25 years leading change across industries, she’s found her place driving transformation at Reckitt.
“I’ve been at Reckitt for just over eight years,” Catherine says. “Right now, I’m leading the Controls Transformation Programme — ensuring we’re compliant by 2026 and aligned to Reckitt’s strategic goals. In simple terms, I make sure the right things are delivered at the right time, in the right way.”
Catherine’s career path has been anything but linear. She began in financial services, built experience in government contracts, and went on to lead major programmes in healthcare, consumer goods, and FMCG. “I joined Reckitt to audit programmes — not run them — but within nine months I was seconded to fix the very issues I’d identified. That’s Reckitt in a nutshell: if you’ve got an idea, you’ll get the chance to make it happen.”
Since then, Catherine has led initiatives across finance, supply, and procurement, combining project management, change management and PMO expertise to deliver lasting impact. “I’ve grown so much here,” she says. “Leading diverse teams, managing complex change, and building relationships across regions has strengthened my adaptability and resilience.”
Her biggest challenge — and proudest achievement — has been leading across global teams and cultures.
Working in such a multinational environment taught me the value of flexibility and cultural understanding. It’s made me a better leader and a better person.
For Catherine, purpose goes hand in hand with people. “I care deeply about making a positive difference — at work and beyond. As co-lead of Women@Reckitt, I help drive initiatives that support and empower women. Seeing that impact across our business is incredibly rewarding.”
Outside work, Catherine brings that same passion for inclusion and connection into her community and family life. “Whether it’s a project, a programme or simply showing up for others — I believe in creating a more equitable, compassionate world. And having fun along the way.”
