Plastics and packaging waste
Plastic and packaging waste is one of the world’s most urgent environmental issues. It’s also a priority for us – which is why we’re aiming to use less packaging and more responsible materials, which contain recycled content, and are recyclable or even reusable.
We’ve already made good progress, but we know that to achieve our targets, we’ll need to work with others. That’s why we’re strengthening our global, cross-sector commitments and working with our suppliers to develop innovative packaging with less impact on the planet.

In Brazil, we launched a new, concentrated capsule refill system for Veja Power Nature all-purpose cleaner. The original trigger and bottle can now be reused up to 25 times, reducing the use of plastic packaging by up to 85%. The PET bottle is recyclable and also includes 50% PCR.
